S. Boulardii

Optibac Probiotics S. Boulardii has been specially created for those with diarrhoea, IBS (diarrhoea- dominant), and Candida overgrowth. Containing the unique and internationally acclaimed Saccharomyces boulardii strain, which is one of the most extensively researched probiotics in the world and has been used safely for over 50 years. Each easy-to-swallow capsule contains 5 billion live cultures, shown to survive through stomach acidity and reach the gut alive. This pure and natural supplement contains no additives or fillers and can be taken daily or as required, with or without food. The capsules can be opened, and the contents taken alone or added to cool, non-acidic foods and drinks.

This supplement does not interfere with medicines or supplements for diarrhoea, IBS, or Candida, though should be taken at least 2 hours away from anti-fungal medications and supplements.

Instructions For Use

Adults: Take 1-6 capsules daily, with or without food, spread throughout the day, or as professionally directed. Suitable for occasional use or on an ongoing basis, depending on reasons for use. For severe diarrhoea, take 1-4 capsules initially, then take 2 capsules two or three times daily depending on symptoms. For Candida, start with 1 capsule daily for a week. Increase daily dose by 1 capsule each week for 6 weeks until maximum dose of 6 capsules per day is reached (it may not be necessary to take the maximum dose; ideally seek the advice of a health professional).

For IBS/IBD, start with 1 capsule daily and increase if required, depending on symptoms. Children (one year and over): take 1-3 capsules daily or as professionally directed. Safe to take with medications and supplements, though should be taken at least 2 hours away from anti-fungal treatments. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid exposure to humid conditions. Capsules can be opened and contents taken directly into the mouth or mixed with cold, non-acidic food and drink.

• Vegetarian capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose

Do not exceed recommended daily dosage. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a healthy diet and lifestyle. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and those with serious medical conditions should consult their doctor before taking this product.

At high doses, may cause constipation in sensitive individuals. Drink plenty of water with your course of live cultures. If taking antifungals, take separately (at least 2 hours apart). OptiBac Probiotics may be used on an ongoing basis and can safely be used on either an occasional or daily basis, depending on reasons for use.
